If you still don't get it, here is a good visual explanation of how the RSS feed works.
STAY UPDATED
To help you stay informed about the latest news from
iLevel, we provide an RSS feed of the updates to our
website. These updates range from press releases, updated
or new literature, and new software offerings.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a service that allows
Web content to be shared automatically with subscribers. You
can use any newsreader software or one of numerous Web-based
news aggregator services, such as Google Reader, My Yahoo! and Bloglines, to
subscribe to a feed. You will be able to see when an update
has been made, view the headline and read a brief description
of the content a link to the location.
Really, what is RSS?
RSS can be a real time saver. It can let you see the updates
to our site without having to visit each time. Instead of searching a new
site for updated information and content, a file is placed
on the site with just the newest
additions. Subscribing to this file (or feed as it is
called) allows you to just get the new stuff and not have
to search to see what has changed. Rather than getting
email updates sent to you, the information on the feed is
as up-to-date when you request a copy, so you get the latest
"headlines."
How do I subscribe?
If your brower supports RSS feeds, you can click on the RSS
icon and follow the prompts. If you use a separate reader,
you can use the RSS Feed location below and copy-and-paste
the page’s address into the “Add Feed by
URL” box in your newsreader.
