Each year, we harvest only 1-3% of our timberlands and plant more than 100 million new seedlings. The majority of materials used to manufacture our Green Studs comes from Weyerhaeuser land, while some is purchased from other sources. All
of our mills follow the practices defined by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) to buy from responsible sources and use the
SFI Fiber Sourcing label. We do not make claims that Weyerhaeuser's Green Studs have certified content.
We take pride in the fact that Green Studs are manufactured at facilities certified to the SFI Fiber Sourcing requirements. SFI stands apart from other forest certification programs by supporting and promoting responsible forest management on both certified and uncertified lands in North America through its fiber sourcing.
