Trus Joist developed the wooden I-joist 35 years ago and we continue to make it better. Engineered to provide strength and consistency, these joists are a key part of making a high-performance floor. The dimensional stability of TJI joists helps them resist the warping, twisting, and shrinking that can lead to squeaky floors. TJI joists are light weight and come in long lengths. This helps save on labor, because they're faster and easier to install than traditional framing. These same features have made them a popular choice for roof joists as well.

Now our iLevel® Trus Joist® TJI® joists have been upgraded to improve the carrying capacity of the TJI® 110, TJI® 210 and TJI® 230 series joists. This upgrade means increased values in our span tables, allowing customers to reduce overall costs without compromising structural performance.
